IT asset disposal
We collect your old IT, erase every drive, give you a certificate for each one, and put working equipment back into use.
What we take
- Laptops, desktops and all-in-ones
- Servers, storage arrays and network equipment
- Loose hard drives and SSDs
- Phones and tablets
- Monitors, printers and peripherals
Not sure about something? Send us a list and we will tell you.
Who it's for
Businesses, schools, councils, charities and practices replacing equipment, closing an office or clearing a store room.
As the data controller you stay responsible for personal data on your old equipment. Our records give you evidence of what happened to every device.
How it works
Quote and booking
Tell us what you have and where it is. We confirm the price and a collection date.
Collection
We collect and sign for everything we take. Or drop it off at the Windmill Centre.
Logging
Every item is booked in by make, model and serial number.
Erasure
Drives are erased with DarkCode and verified. Failed or unerasable drives are destroyed.
Certificates
You receive the asset list and a certificate for each storage device.
Re-use or recycling
Working equipment is refurbished and resold. Everything else goes to recycling.
Questions
What does it cost?
It depends on volume, how much of the equipment can be re-used and how far we travel. Equipment with resale value often covers the cost of collection. We give you a price before we book anything.
How is data removed?
Drives are erased with DarkCode, our own erasure software, and the result is verified before the drive is passed. Any drive that fails verification, or that cannot be erased, is physically destroyed.
What paperwork do I get?
An asset list with serial numbers, and an erasure or destruction certificate for every storage device. Keep these with your records for data protection audits.
Can you do it on site?
Yes, ask us. Drives can be removed and destroyed at your premises if the data must not leave the building.
Which areas do you cover?
We collect across Cornwall and Devon from Launceston, and further afield for larger loads. You can also drop equipment off at the Windmill Centre during opening hours.
