Who we are

What we collect
When you send a message
Your name, email address, and any phone number, organisation and message you give us. We use this to reply and, if you go ahead, to arrange the work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps before entering a contract with you.
When you visit
Our web server keeps short-lived logs of requests, including IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working. Logs are deleted after 14 days.
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own server.
Where it is stored
The website runs on our own servers with Hetzner in the EU. Email is handled by Runbox in Norway. Both are within the European Economic Area, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to any work are deleted after 24 months. If you become a customer, records are kept for as long as the law requires, typically six years for accounts.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
